All other ink saving systems require setting parameters such as the desired total ink coverage, and the ‘strength’ of ink savings. The result will depend upon the selected parameters.
As opposed to blobal processing, based on predefined parameters, CMS Server performs an individual, adaptative analyzis and optimization process for every single pixel of a PDF document, guaranteeing ISO Standard colors.
With CMS Server, the goal is to pring the right ‘L.a.b’ colors from the original PDF document, the colors chosen by the customers, with only the necessary ink and no more. The system, designed for intelligent color management, will generate substantial ink savings ; however it will never sacrifice quality for the sake of a TAC value.
